MIKE’S “TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS PAGE”

 

This is a legitimate past time since it is a result of sitting in the Doctor’s waiting room the other day. I had plenty of time to “burn,” since the magazines were about the same age as my youngest daughter who is graduating from college next month. As my “gray matter” was running in overdrive (as a result of forgetting to take my medication the previous few days), I found a pen and some paper and worked up most of what is below.  Although I’m sure it’s far from “original,” it’s interesting to me at any rate. (This is one reason why people like me are not allowed to have sharp objects like pens, etc)! Using a calculator, which I didn’t have at the time, it’s interesting what “words” you can come up with by putting in certain digits and turning them upside down. The digits represent certain letters and you can make words by using the following:

 

1 = “I”

3 = “E”

4 = “H”

5 = “S”

6 = “G”

7 = “L”

8 = “B”

0 = “0”
