ALL RIGHT FANS, THIS IS THE ULTIMATE STORY!!! This is where I “Let it all hang out”! This is where the “ultimate in esoteric” will be revealed, which has heretofore only been revealed and observed to a very few! A phenomenon that has puzzled and totally baffled both professionals and myself! Fasten your seatbelts, because you are about to enter the fascinating world of “8, 9, 10 ers”!!!!! This is yet another area that I have been cognizant of my entire life as far back as I can remember! Like “C of L’s”, I have never been able to rationally explain it, nor has anyone else, professional or otherwise! No doubt by now, your curiosity is totally “bubbling over”! “What, you ask, are “8, 9, 10 ers”? Hey, darned if I know!!! (Heh heh, only kidding…) I coined the term when I was quite young and have no idea why I called them that! The closest analogy I can compare them with is that: MOST EVERYTIME I HEAR CERTAIN WORDS; I GET AN IMMEDIATE WORD-PICTURE IN MY MIND. This phenomenon has been present as long as I can remember! It’s interesting that probably 90% of “8, 9, 10 ers” are “food related”. (This will become very apparent when you see the example lists).  Among the many “professionals”, I have discussed this with over the years; one of them gave probably the most plausible theory as far as I am concerned. They attributed it to me, while very young, hearing a word for perhaps the first time while doing a certain activity such as eating, etc., and that word was then subconsciously associated with that action. This MAY be the rationale, but who knows! I can only venture a guess as to how many words exhibit this phenomenon; I would say it’s in the 100’s! I will periodically add to the list on a regular basis. I don’t want to overwhelm anyone! I guess the best way to illustrate this is to show some examples. So… on to the list…!
