| When we were kids we had many dogs throughout the years. There were 2 that stand out, one was Bullet (after Roy Roger's dog) and the other was one of Bullet's puppies we kept who was named "Puppy Dup". Both of them were females and had many amourous affairs with roving male dogs. As a result, they usually had an average of 9 puppies each at the same time! (Hummm, 2-timing male dogs, tsk tsk.) We usually ended up with 18 puppies to get rid of annually or sometimes even 2 times a year (in pre Viagra time too). We put signs in the various local businesses including the local tavern at the corner. I imagine many a drunk woke up the next morning and wondered what the puppy was doing there! We also hung a home made sign on one of the electric poles just down the road from us which read: |
